The founding members of the One Word Project creative team include the following individuals:
Dan is a recognized innovator of high impact student involvement and leadership programs. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Student Life and is a member of the Social and Emotional Competency Task Force at the University of the Pacific. Inspired by Pacific's ongoing commitment to whole person learning, Dan originally conceived of One Word as a memorable way in which to enhance self understanding among undergraduate students, particularly first year students.
Kristina is a graduate assistant in the Office of Student Activities and Leadership Programs at the University of the Pacific. As the Executive Producer for One Word, Kristina has played a central role in creating and implementing activities that support and enhance student learning. She has been instrumental in developing a system of involvement that has included hundreds of Pacific students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Theo is an undergraduate graphic design and photography student at Pacific that was selected to oversee the artistic direction of One Word Project. He has been responsible for developing the signature black and white One Word photo concept and has provided much of the creative inspiration for the composition and photo editing processes associated with the Project.
Jessie is a recent religious studies graduate from the University of the Pacific. She is a talented amateur photographer who is considered to be the technical expert of the One Word creative team. Her experience with lighting and set up have been critical to the quality of the photography.
Kegan is a talented undergraduate art student at Pacific who has been responsible for much of the photo editing involved in the finishing of each photograph. He has a critical eye for detail and also has learned to be a source of inspiration for some of the most creative One Word compositions.
