Adapt

Cory Gilpin
Class of 2014
English

I could have chosen procrastinate, but the fact is that I don't want that to define me anymore. I want to be able to sit down and do my work the moment I tell myself to. I want my free time to consist of the time after my homework is done, not the time between class and homework. I want to stop pacing around whatever my home is, hands clutching my hair, and instead be able to sit down, relax, and enjoy all that brings me joy. I want to adapt to realizing my house can also be a workplace, with the added bonus of being a short commute.
