Broken

Chelsea McClure
Class of 2014
Arts and Entertainment Management

To most people the word broken projects a sense of sadness, defeat and hopelessness. Yet to me, broken is a twisted way to looking at home and having a fresh start. Broken represents me because everyone feels broken sometimes, which is portrayed in my drawings, and sets me apart because I take the brokenness and turn it into something positive. I realize that no matter how broken I feel or someone else feels, there is always a glimmer of hope in putting the pieces back together.
