Kouzoulos

Kouzoulos is the Greek word for "crazy", yet more specifically for people from the Greek Island of Crete. My family on my dad's side and when I visited Greece I realized these people are awesome. Cretans have always been known as fighters. They fight for what they love and never give up. I choose this word partly for what it stands for and partly for its literal meaning. Crazy doesn’t just mean doing stupid things. It means being unique, doing the unexpected, going beyond what's expected, being happy and sticking through the worst to see the sun.
