Perseverance

Elizabeth Garcia
Class of 2014

As a kid, I always went after what I wanted. I pushed harder when I was told I could never achieve my dreams. Years later, I’m at UOP, months from graduating, in a sorority I did my best to get into and at a school many could only dream of achieving. Perseverance is a word that has been used to describe me and I’m glad people see me as persistent. I hope to go back home and help others reach for their dreams by being persistent.
