Passion

Katherine Grutas
Class of 2010
Biochemistry

I chose the word "passion" because a lot of things that I’m doing right now are passion-driven. My work with Alzheimer’s Disease and taking care of the elderly is deeply rooted in my passion for elder care advocacy. I also believe that it is my passion that keeps the fire in my heart and body burning, moving my body to do the things that I want for society. I am doing Biochemistry and Economics because I believe that with Science and Econ., I can fulfill my goal of making a difference in my society, to America, and the country where I’m deeply connected to the Philippines.
