Adventurous

Nicole Henry
Class of 2013
Music (Bachelor of Arts)

When I was younger I learned about my Japanese culture. My mother had lost much of her culture through my grandmother's neglectance to speak or teach much of the Japanese tradiations. I decided to immerse myself within the Japanese culture my mother had lost, leading me to the creation of my dream: becoming a singer of Japan. Over time this dream has changed. I now simply desire to become an interpreter of multiple languages. Because I have chosen to restart my life in Japan, ridding myself of much of the establishments I already have, I have chosen the word adventurous for the courage and adventure that a new culture must take and will bring.
